Christmas Stockings for Meg and Paul

I made these stockings for Meg and Paul, who will be married in August.  I used a size 8 circular needle and Encore worsted yarn.  I made the welts by knitting 1 row, then purling 2 rows.  Next time I will only knit 1 row, then purl 1 row if using welts in the body of the stocking.
