5 Hour Baby Sweater
This little sweater set was made from the 5 hour baby boy sweater pattern – but it definitely took me at least 10 hours to make! It was one of the first baby sweaters I ever made. The knitting pattern is easy to follow and is an easy to knit and understand pattern.
The pattern has been passed down for many years and taken lots of different forms. This particular pattern has been modified to look a little more boyish than the traditional pattern. Changing the buttons can make a big difference too.
The pattern calls for size 8 needles and about 250 yards of worsted weight yarn.
I love that the pattern is written in such a way that allows you to knit the entire sweater in one piece which means that there weren’t very many ends to weave in!
