Oh the squishiness of a hand knitted baby blanket is just the best! This pattern is so easy to knit. Mostly knit rows and some purl rows create the texture of this blanket. Pair this Sweetest Dreams baby blanket with this book for a cherished gift to the new parents. Their new precious baby will be sure to have the sweetest dreams!
This is the most beautiful book compiled by Parragon Books and illustrated by @birgittasif

Yarn
The Sweetest Dreams Baby Blanket is a great stashbuster! I like to pull out all those half skeins of Hobby Lobby’s I Love This Yarn and use them all up. Of course I don’t have a problem heading to the yarn store to get more yarn. Have you tried Lion Brand Basic Stitch Acrylic Yarn? It’s another great blanket yarn that goes in the washer and dryer and just gets softer and softer with time.
For this project I used 3 skeins of Hobby Lobby I Love This Yarn in Ivory, Soft Pink and Orchid
I also like to buy my yarn from Knitpicks. They have a great selection and lots of sales. Pick out a worsted or Aran weight yarn that is washable. New parents prefer washable yarn for their baby blankets. Wait til you see all the beautiful colors this Knitpicks Comfy Worsted Weight yarn comes in!
