Knitting the Crosswise Free and Easy Baby Blanket Pattern
A free and easy baby blanket pattern
Knitting the free and easy Crosswise Baby Blanket is a fun and simple project that is easy to knit while watching TV. Beginning with 5 stitches and using one yarnover per row, the blanket grows for as long as you desire. When it’s the right length, simply begin the decreases and you will have a perfect square.
Use one color, two colors, 10 colors. It is simply your vision, and is fun to use up all those half used skeins that you cannot bear to throw out.
If you are a beginner you will love learning with this pattern and if you are a more experienced knitter you will find this a relaxing and rewarding project.
For this project, I used up 6 colors of skeins in my stash.
This pattern makes a perfectly square blanket. This Crosswise Baby Blanket is 24″ x 24″.
