I made this Baby Fan Blanket for my beautiful baby grandson as a Christening Blanket. I used size 8 needles and Berocco yarn that had cotton and rayon in it…. called Berocco Modern Cotton. It’s machine wash cold, lay flat to dry. The pattern is free on Ravelry ~Baby Fan Blanket
I revised the pattern a little bit to make it smaller. It is an 11 stitch repeat so I cast on 118 stitches, using a 4 stitch garter border.
There was an easy 4 row repeat. First knit 8 rows garter stitch.
Row 1: Knit 4… then K2tog, K2tog, YO, K1, YO k1, YO k1, YO SSK, SSK… until the end then K4
Row 2: Knit 4, Purl to end, Knit 4
Row 3: Knit
Row 4: Knit 4, Purl to end, Knit 4
It was 32″ wide and I knit until it was 36″ long
