This little handsome fella was made for my grandson. Their whole family loves zebras. I found the pattern in a Knitted Animal book which seems to have sprouted hooves and galloped away. The zebra is the symbol for pancreatic neuroendocrine cancer which I have just learned has been hiding in my pancreas and liver for a few years. Zebras are the symbol for this disease because as folklore goes, if someone hears hoofbeats they think of horses, but it takes a little thinking out of the box to hear hoofbeats and think zebras! So as a new member of the zebra zone, I am embracing zebras. Did you know that a herd of zebras is called a dazzle? and I do like sparkles!
